Zoe Littlemore - Rehabilitation and Sports Therapist

Qualifications and Experience

Zoe is a Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Graduate from the University of Derby.

During these studies she gained experience at the student led university sports therapy clinic, running events providing pre and post soft tissue massage and pitch side first aid, injury assessment and rehab at a grass roots rugby club.

Zoe has implemented her knowledge and practical skills assisting our neurological physiotherapists in clinic and in hydrotherapy.

Zoe's Role at PhysioFunction

Zoe is based at Physiofunction Spratton, providing support to our Neurological and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists. Zoe assists clients with physiotherapist led programmes on the FES cycles, LiteGait and Easy Glider and also manages client programmes on the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill. This can help with the rehabilitation of gait, balance and exercise tolerance across a wide range of clients including those with sports injuries, neurological injury, chronic mobility issues and post-surgery.

Zoe provides assistance to our Physiotherapists both in clinic and Hydrotherapy. She also uses hands on sports massage techniques to support exercise sessions and encourage optimal functionality.

Sports Therapy

  • Assessment of injuries and conditions and informed advice on injury management
  • Goal setting for neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Breaking down goals into realistic and achievable steps.
  • Rehabilitation exercises for neurological or joint specific injury.
  • Joint mobilisation and sports massage techniques to aid rehabilitation or to enhance muscle recovery between sessions.

Zoe designs programmes specific to each individual to support them through their rehabilitation process.

When Zoe is not at work you will find her at the gym or staying active with friends and family.
