    About Sam

    Sam qualified as a physiotherapist from Oxford Brookes university in 2008, and has gained a range of clinical experience working at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital London, and across the three sites at University Hospitals of Leicester. Sam specialises in Paediatrics with neurological and other long-term conditions.Sam has experience in treating clients with Spinal Cord Injuries, Chronic Pain and Long-Term conditions, Complex trauma including multi-level surgery, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Atraumatic Shoulder Instability, Peripheral Nerve Injuries and paediatric conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Down’s syndrome, Developmental delay and Spina Bifida.

    Sam's Role at PhysioFunction

    Sam uses a variety of treatment approaches including hands-on-therapy, hydrotherapy, taping, and exercise therapy. 

    Sam empowers clients to help self-manage their own conditions through client centred exercise programmes working towards their own specific goals for physiotherapy, supported by hands-on-therapy or facilitation of movement.

    Sam is community based and sees clients within their own homes across Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.
