How PhysioFunction can help with musculoskeletal pain, weakness and joint stiffness.

After a length of time recovering from illness, particularily when bed bound, our muscles can become tighter and weaker, and with lack of movement, our joints can become stiffer. This can cause discomfort, increased effort of movement, reduced efficiency and fatigue.
Physiotherapy can help with the use of manual techniques to mobilise stiff and painful joints thus easing and improving range of movement. Together with targeted exercises, manual therapy can specifically strengthen and stabilise these problem areas.
Our team of musculoskeletal, neurological physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and sports therapists will use a combination of hands-on therapy including sports massage, technology and home exercise to achieve this.
