
Neurological Physiotherapist
Taher studied for his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at Pune university, India and completed his Masters in Applying Physiotherapy (Neurology) at Sheffield Hallam University in 2012. Taher is also a committee member for South Trent ACPIN.
In addition to Taher’s special interest in spinal cord injured patient and exoskeletons, his other clinical interest includes FES, dystonia management and treating patients with NeuroMuscular conditions. He uses Neurofit technique to treat his patients with neurological conditions.
Taher’s clinical time is divided between the rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injury at PhysioFunction, Centre of Excellence, Spratton and Leicester. Taher has previously worked with NHS patients with complex Neurological conditions in hospital also at home. Alongside clinical management he also provides holistic management for his spinal cord injury patients.
Taher is committed to evidence based practice to achieve the best possible results for his patients and is based at our Leicester clinic.
