Assistant Practitioner

Kelly has over 17 years experience working within the care sector in supporting and managerial roles. Kelly's experience includes care of adults and children with complex health needs and learning disabilities, also 7 years NHS experience working alongside physiotherapists specifically in neurological rehabilitation.

Having already gained an NVQ level 3 in Social Care, Kelly recently updated this qualification with 10 bolt on modules in rehabilitation. Kelly has also achieved physiotherapy courses in theory and practical skills for physiotherapy assistants and mental health awareness courses.

Kelly now treats clients in one to one sessions, Neurofit classes, Community Working and Aquatic Therapy. Kelly leads the Post Polio land based group sessions and uses varying technologies such as - MediTutor's HandTutor/ArmTutor, Mindmaze, LiteGait and AlterG as part of her treatments, with an interest in paediatric, stroke, hydrotherapy (aquatic therapy) and functional neurological disorder (FND).

Kelly is based at our PhysioFunction Spratton clinic.
